Whiskey Talks

August 9, 2020August 10, 2020 ahorsealone

Though familiar,
As night walks,
And sweeter than,
Thoughts amid talk,

Beneath the stars
Our eyes would meet,
Miles apart
Our words now reach.

Let secrets keep
And watchers weep.
Let sober steps
Another night sleep.
