I went to sleep without your voice
Settling its nest upon my ear.
I thought I should, still, rejoice
That I’d find you at dreamy frontiers.
Your every word would take flight,
And spangle the atmosphere
With heaven’s memories and write
What mortal ears could not hear.

I love the rhythm of this poem. You make it true that using rhymes is still relevant in poetry today. I enjoyed reading this.
Oh my, Im not sure that Im worthy of such praise! But I am glad to know you also appreciate rhyme 🙂
